Prevention and Treatment of Cancer – The Juicy Way

Whether allopathy aficionados, by which I mean the supporters of mainstream medicine, like it or not, alternative systems of medicine like naturopathy are here to stay, simply because people are enamored with these systems. Even when people use treatment methods prescribed by the western medicine, they take added help through natural methods for faster healing and palliative effect. In the case of cancer, among the many natural methods used for healing, juice therapy is one that is becoming growingly popular.

Juice Therapy For Cancer

Any therapeutic procedure will lose popularity if the users are not benefitting from it. The very fact that more and more people are showing interest in consuming fruit and vegetable juices to fight a highly debilitating disease like cancer, speaks volumes for the efficacy of this remedy. Given below are the names of some of the veggies and fruits that have been found to be especially effective in cancer treatment.

The cabbage family of vegetables consisting of leaf vegetables like broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower etc. is the most recommended ones for cancer juicing. They are also known as cruciferous (cross-bearing) vegetables because of the cross shape of their four-petal flowers.

The more common cruciferous vegetables are,

Bok choy
Broccoli
Brussels sprouts
Cabbage
Collard greens
Cauliflower
Horseradish
Kale
Turnip
Watercress

To get the full spectrum benefit from these vegetables, they have to be consumed completely uncooked. Juicing is recommended because consuming raw is always easier when consumed as juice.

Carotenoids like beta carotene, zeaxanthin, lutein etc, which are plant pigments, are also effective in fighting cancer.

Some of the vegetables and fruits containing carotenoids are,

Carrot
Cantaloupe
Collard green
Dandelion
Kale
Green pepper
Red pepper
Yellow pepper
Papaya
Romaine
Turnip
Spinach

Flavanols like proanthocyanidins are also cancer resistant agents.

Fruits and vegetables containing these polyphenols are,

Apple
Beet
Blueberry
Black current
Cranberry
Grape skin
Plum

Besides these, raspberry, strawberry, tomato, and pineapple are also cancer preventive.

Many of the fruits and vegetables listed above are commonly available so that the users can extract fresh juice as and when required. However, there are some bottled juices of less common fruits, which have also been found to have anti-cancer properties. These are,

* Goji berry (also known as wolfberry) juice. The fruit has been in use in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years.

* Mangos teen juice. This fruit is grown mainly in Southeast Asia.

* Noni Juice. The fruit noni is grown mainly in Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and Australasia.

If you would like to have the juice of a particular fruit or vegetable that is not locally available, there is no choice other than to rely on bottled juices. However, some of the nutrients and almost all the dietary fiber are lost during the process of bottling so that it is best to take freshly extracted juice as far as possible.

For the juicing regimen to be effective, you have to be careful not just about the quality of the juice but also about all the things that you eat while you are on the juice therapy. Foods that contain chemicals like artificial food colors and flavors should be avoided. Further, while meat is definitely not recommended for consumption while juicing, it is best to avoid even dairy products and stick to a vegan diet. Progesteril Users Get Their Questions Answers

1. It is good and advisable to take soy for menopause hot flashes? How much it is recommended? It is harmful to the body? We must rest seasonally or you can take then? Soy is great. Chinese women have taken it since time immemorial and interestingly they do not have a word for hot flashes. We take soy, because it has a high percentage of protein, has phytoestrogens, decreases the amount of calcium lost, which also comes in handy for osteoporosis. In addition, it is also good for memory and mood. What I advise you is to find a product that besides giving you the soy ingredients it has something to deal with other symptoms of menopause. A good example of such a product is progesteril. Progesteril menopause cream is all natural and judging from the many progesteril reviews, the product is also affordable. 2.
